Malaga: The capital of the Axarquia offers superb shopping facilities and culture such as the recently opened Picasso museum, situated near the Cathedral in the old part of town.
Sierra Nevada: Spain's highest mountain range is a 2 hour drive and has a wonderful ski resort from October through til May/June.
Nerja: Famous caves and wonderful beaches.
Granada: Alhambra palace and the Generalife water gardens
Jerez: Sherry bodegas and renowned for its' flamenco dancers
Cordoba: Mezquita-Mosque and cathedral- one of the wonders of the Islamic world and the exquisite Alcazar gardens.
Sevilla: Andalucias' tapas capital, with an immense Cathedral and 90m Giralda tower.
